KABUL (Pajhwok): Safi Airways, a privately owned international airline, on Tuesday said it was starting direct flights between western Herat province and the Pakistani capital Islamabad.
Flights are scheduled to operate on Tuesdays, departing Herat International Airport at 11. 40am and arriving at 2: 40 pm at Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad, the carrier said in a statement.
It said its flights will depart from Islamabad at 3:10pm and arrive at Herat International Airport at 4:40pm to make convenient for passengers.
Safi Airways operates a two cabin service business and economy class with a modern fleet of Airbus 319 and 320 aircraft on the route.
With the number of passengers increasing between Islamabad and Herat, Safi airways will be rolling out many promotions in encouraging more customers to patronize its services. One such promotion is its customer loyalty program Saffron Rewards.
