CHAGHCHARAN (Pajhwok): Children on Sunday organised a walk against the killing of two minors in the Serena Hotel attack in Chaghcharan, the capital of central Ghor province.
Journalist Sardar Ahmad, his wife, their two children, another Afghan and four foreigners were killed in the militant armed assault on the luxury hotel in the heart of Kabul on Thursday.
Dozens of children, carrying the photographs of Sardar’s family, walked through in Chaghcharan to protest the incident. They chanted slogans against the perpetrators.
The children appealed to President Hamid Karzai to ensure the arrest the organisers of this attack and bring them to justice as soon as possible.
Nisar Ahmad, one of the participants, told the militants. “We want to go to school to carve out a bright future for ourselves. Please, don’t kill us; we are innocent.” A number of journalists also participated in the walk.
