LASHKARGAH/GHAZNI (Pajhwok): At least six people, including two children, have been killed and four others injured in separate incidents in southern Ghazni and Helmand provinces, security officials said on Monday.
Syed Murad Sadat, administrative head of Nawzad district, told Pajhwok Afghan News a roadside bomb left three civilians dead and one wounded. The incident happened when the victims were on their way to Musa Qala district.
In another incident in the same province, one person was killed in a roadside bomb blast in Greshk district, said Abdul Ahad Chopan, the provincial police chief.
Separately, two children were killed and three others injured when a rocket landed in the Qarabagh district of Ghazni province.
Shafiq Nang, the governor’s spokesman, said the incident occurred in the afternoon. He added the victims included a boy and a girl both below 10 years.
