ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Police recovered 1,200 bogus voter cards from a child in eastern Kunar province on Thursday, the provincial police chief said.
Brig. Gen. Abdul Habib Syedkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News that police seized the fake cards from a 10-year old boy who was on his way to the provincial capital from Nangarhar.
The boy was arrested at a police check-post in Narang district, he said, adding the detainee belonged to the Wama district of neighbouring Nuristan province.
