PUL-I-ALAM: (Pajhwok): Three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were wounded last night when militants stormed polling stations in the Baraki Barak district of central Logar province, an official said on Saturday.
Brig. Gen. Abdul Hakim, the provincial police chief, confirmed militants attacked polling centers in Bari Kala and Doshanbi areas of the district.
He said polling centres in Saidan and Owni areas also came under attack but he had no reports regarding causalities.
Militant tactics would not derail the election process, he said, asking people to vote as all security measures had been adopted to protect the ballot.
