KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): A policeman and an intelligence official were killed and three others wounded in separate incidents in southern Kandahar province on Wednesday, an official said.
A bomb explosion in Zherai district killed the policeman and injured three others, the district’s administrative chief said.
Jamal Agha told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident occurred at 11:00am in Makano area when policemen were on patrol. The injured were rushed to hospital in stable condition.
Separately, unidentified gunmen on a motorbike shot dead a National Directorate of Security (NDS area of Kandahar City.
