PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed in a bomb explosion in central Logar province on Thursday, an official said.
Governor Niaz Mohammad Amiri told Pajhwok Afghan News the fatalities occurred around noon when an ANA pick-up struck the roadside bomb.
He blamed the Taliban for planting the roadside bomb in Altamoor area on the outskirts of Pul-i-Alam — the provincial capital.
The Taliban did not immediately react to the incident, which came hours after the Ministry of Defence announced the deaths of four soldiers in blasts in different parts of the country.
