IEC wants fraud-tainted officials fired (Video)

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Tuesday warned if the government failed to fire the officials allegedly involved in fraud and rigging, the panel would have to make public their names.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, IEC Chairman Muhammad Yousuf Nuristani claimed that the officials who committed electoral anomalies included some governors, security commanders and mayors.
