<p>FEROZK0H (Pajhwok): Five people have been killed during a clash between gunmen loyal to two rival commanders in western <a href="/en/afganistan/chagcharan/ghor" class="glossify-link">Ghor</a> province, an official said on Wednesday.</p>

<p>The clash took place a day earlier between supporters of Arbab Atta Muhammad and Abdul Samad in Siachob area of Dolina district, Ghor crime branch chief Col. Abdul Hadi Chalghori said.</p>
<p>He said the dead included a son of commander Atta and two gunmen of Samad, who had been detained by Atta’s fighters.</p>
<p>The official linked the clash to personal enmity and said “no information about casualties among civilians could be ascertained.”</p>
<p>Security forces have been sent to the area, some 40 kilometers from the Dolina district headquarters, to prevent further casualties.</p>
<p>The governor’s spokesman Abdul Hai Khatibi said security forces sent to the area had been unable so far to bring the situation under control.</p>
