TARINKOT (Pajhwok): Militants gunned down a man and injured his wife in the Khas Uruzgan district of central Uruzgan province, an official said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at around 3: 00pm in Nakrozo area of the district, the town’s administrative chief Haji Abdul Karim, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The couple was on its way home from a local clinic on motorbike when it came under Taliban attack, he added.
The woman with multiple injuries, he said was instantly rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.
