Police officer killed in suicide attack

SHARAN (Pajhwok): A police officer was killed in a suicide bombing in the Orgun district of southeastern Paktika province on Wednesday evening.

The district crime branch head was killed and three other policemen suffered injuries in the bombing, the provincial police chief said.

Brig. Gen. Nabi Jan Mullahkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomber on foot blew himself up near the police officer’s vehicle.
