JALALABAD (Pajhwok): An NGO ambulance struck a roadside bomb in the Behsud district of eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday, an official said.
The driver was injured and the ambulance damaged as a resul of the blast in Qazi Kala area at 10:00am, the NGO official, Abdullah, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Nangarhar police spokesman Maj. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal confirmed the incident, but gave no further details.
Eyewitness Hikmatullah claimed seeing two injured people at the site. They were rushed to hospital, he said.
