PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Ten people, including three policemen, have been wounded in a landmine explosion in northern Baghlan province, local officials said on Friday.
Javed Basharat, the police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place on Thursday evening on the outskirts of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital.
The remote-controlled device was attached to a motorbike and it went off when a police vehicle was passing through the area, he added.
He blamed Taliban for carrying out the blast but said no one had been arrested.
Doctor Muhammad Nabi Akbari, director of Pul-i-Khumri Civil Hospital, said one of the wounded persons was in critical condition.
