KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The police chief for Chahar Dara district of northern Kunduz province was injured along with his two guards in a suicide bombing early Wednesday morning, an official said.
Col. Ghulam Muhayuddin was targeted by the bomber in the Pul-i-Hindosozan area of Kunduz City on his way to office at 7:2 0am, police spokesperson, Syed Sarwar Hussaini, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The wounded were evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment, he said, adding a security guard was killed in the attack.
