<p>MAIMANA/ SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): At least four persons, including two Afghan Local police (ALP) officials, have been killed in incidents of violence in different parts of the country, officials said Thursday. </p>

<p>Two ALP commanders Qahraman and Mohammad Rahim were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the <a href="/en/pashtun" class="glossify-link">Pashtun</a> Kot district of northwestern Faryab province, crime branch chief, Maj. Mohammad Aman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.</p>
<p>Mohammad Tahir Rahmani, son of Mohammad Qadir Rahmani, the provincial council member, said the slain individuals were his father’s bodyguards.</p>
<p>Separately, a pro-government armed man was gunned down and four others, including two civilians, wounded in an attack by masked men in the Aqch district of northern Jawzjan province, police chief said.</p>
<p>One assailant was also killed in the exchange of gun fire, Brig. Gen. Faqir Mohammad Jawzjani added. </p>
<p>But, <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed claimed killing three ALP officials and injuring five others in the attack.</p>
