BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Police detained a gang and recovered 45 camels stolen from nomads in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Saturday.
Police chief Brig. Gen. Khudayar Qudsi told a press conference the detainees wanted to transfer the camels to northern Samangan province.
The men were being interrogated, said Qudsi, who assured the camels, currently in police custody, would be returned to their owners.
