After taking oath, he pledged the government of national unity would do its bit to protect achievements of the past 13 years and further improve upon them for people’s prosperity.
He said the incoming administration would strive sincerely to enforce the rule of law, uphold constitutionalism, promote peace, ensure good governance and encourage the freedom of expression.
The CEO lauded outgoing leader Hamid Karzai’s outstanding services to the nation during his 13-year rule. He also vowed to do whatever he could to eradicate corruption from the government.
