MAIDAN CITY (Pajhwok): Forty-six million afghanis would be spent on the construction of 36 playgrounds in different districts of Maidan Wardak province, an official said on Friday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesperson, told Pajhwok Afghan News the volleyball, football and cricket grounds would be constructed under the Stability in Key Area (SIKA) programme.
The playgrounds would be constructed in Maidan City, the provincial capital, and Syedabad, Nirkh and Jalrez districts, the spokesman said. Work on the project will be completed in three to four months.
