KABUL (Pajhwok): Ten Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers have been killed during separate incidents in different parts of the country in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Thursday.
A statement from MoD said the soldiers were lost to roadside bombings and during security operations. However, it did not provide details about the incidents.
Afghan forces’ casualties recently increased as 900 soldiers have been killed since March 21. According to MoD, about 6,000 security personnel have been killed since 2001.
