Ahmadzai off to Saudi Arabia for Umrah

KABUL (Pajhwok): At the head of a high-level delegation, President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai on Saturday flew to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, his office said.

A statement from the Presidential Palace said Ahmadzai would also meet his Saudi counterpart to discuss improved relationships between the two nations.

Ahmadzai is accompanied by a number of officials including his first vice-president Abdur Rashid Dostam, Chief Executive Officer’s advisor Eng. Mohammad Khan, special representative on reforms and good governance Ahmad Zia Massoud and others.
