ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Two Madrassa students aged ten and 11 respectively were killed and the third one injured on Monday after a rocket exploded near their Madrassa, officials said.
Mohammad Hashim Noorzai, Khashrod district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the rocket went-off the moment when students were playing with the unexploded device.
The injured child, he said was shifted to a local hospital and he was in stable condition.
Ahmad Saboor, a resident of the locality, said more than 200 students study in the Madrassa. He asked the government to adopt measures to purge the area of unexploded devices.
