KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Fifteen insurgents and a supporter of Afghan Local Police (ALP) were killed during a clash with police in northern Kunduz province on Saturday, and official said.
The clash took place late afternoon in the Jang Arq area of Qala-i-Zal district, where the rebels stormed a check-post, the police spokesman said.
Syed Sarwar Hussaini told Pajhwok Afghan News the situation returned to normal after the fighting finished. Taliban have not yet spoken about the incident.
