Bomb damages foreign troops’ vehicle

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A vehicle of foreign troops was partially damaged after striking a roadside bomb in the Bagram district of central Parwan province, an official said on Saturday.

Abdul Shakoor Qudusi, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb, placed under a bridge, hit a vehicle of NATO-led soldiers in Du Saraka area last night.

He said there was no information about casualties but the vehicle was partially damaged. Civilians suffered no casualties in the incident.

A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed responsibility for the bomb attack and said foreign troops had suffered casualties in the incident.
