LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Three bank employees and a policeman were killed in a landmine blast in the capital of southern Helmand province on Friday evening, police said.
The provincial police spokesman said the roadside bomb tore through a vehicle carrying employees of Azizi Bank, the second largest commercial bank in Afghanistan, in Laskhargah at about 5pm.
The blast killed three bank officials and one policeman and extensively damaged the vehicle, he said, adding that the injured persons had been taken to hospital but gave no figure and information about the extent of their injuries.
