TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): A mother and her two daughters were killed in a roadside bombing in central Uruzgan province on Wednesday, a resident said.
But an official said two teenage sisters were killed in the blast that took place in the Chinartu district at about 3pm.
The district chief, Mohammad Ismail, said the victims were sisters and were killed in the blast in Sakhar village when they were passing through the area.He said the bomb had been planted on the road in the middle of the village.
A resident said a mother and her two daughters were killed in the blast. He said the women wanted to visit their relatives, but fell prey to the landmine.
