KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): At least two people have been killed and six others injured in a traffic accident in northeastern Kunduz province, an official said Monday.
Abdul Wase Basil, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News a Corolla car crashed into a parked truck on the Aliabad-Kunduz last night.
The driver and a passenger, he said, were killed and six others wounded in the accident. The injured were evacuated to the zonal hospital, with of them in critical condition.
He said the Aliabad- Kunduz road was a one way road, a restriction not respected by drivers and the main reason behind a surge in accidents.
