4 construction company workers kidnapped in Jawzjan

SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped four employees of a construction company in northern Jawzjan province, the police chief said Wednesday.  

Br. Gen. Faqir Mohammad Jawzjani said militants stormed two security posts in Qush Tepa district. A local policeman and two militants were killed in the incident. Two other local police and four militants were wounded.

The militants abducted four employees of a road construction company along with their vehicles on Tuesday night, he said.

Eng. Attaullah, director of public works, said the victims were employees of a construction company but he did not name the firm.
