SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A kid was killed and his father sustained critical injuries in a gas cylinder explosion in northern Jawzjan province on Tuesday, an official said.
The incident took place when a gas cylinder exploded inside a shop, Sayyed Zamanuddin Hussaini, as senior police official, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The cylinder exploded with a big band all in a sudden, severing leg of the shopkeeper and leaving his son dead on the spot.
The shopkeeper was evacuated to Shiberghan Civil Hospital, he added.
