Herat blast leaves child wounded

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): One child was wounded as a result of an explosion on Thursday in the 5^th police district of Herat City, the provincial capital of western Herat province, an official said.

Police Spokesman Abdul Rauf Ahmadi said the explosive were placed in a bicycle which went-off in front of Maulvi petrol pump.

He said police had started investigation to ascertain what caused the blast. Separately, a body of a child was recovered early on Thursday.
