Kabul police rescue child, detain 4 kidnappers

KABUL (Pajhwok): Police on Sunday claimed rescuing a child kidnapped from Kabul to in Paghman district and arresting four individuals involved in the crime.

Brig. Gen. Farid Afzali, Kabul criminal investigation head, told Pajhwok Afghan News the child had been kidnapped for ransom two weeks back and his family asked to pay a huge amount.

He did not share further details as the case is under investigations. Gen. Afzali indicated more suspects involved in kidnapping the child would be netted soon.
