The protestors condemned the killing of Farkhanda and asked the ministry to crack down on extremism and the use of religion for violence. The rally started from the RTA building and ended at the provincial council office.
In a six-point resolution, the demonstrators asked the Hajj and Religious Affairs Ministry to adopt a clear strategy for controlling extremism and terrorism. It also stressed the execution of Farkhanda’s killers and release of 31 abducted passengers.
Separately, the Modern Thinking Society (MTS) offered fateha at its office in Kabul.
