Would-be suicide bomber among 3 held in Kunduz

KABUL (Pajhwok): Police in northern Kunduz province detained three persons including a would-be suicide bomber, a statement from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Wednesday.

Farhad, 20, and his two friends were detained during special operation on the outskirts of Imam Sahib district, the statement said.

It added that the detained individuals confessed to committing the crime and carry out a terror bid in Imam Sahib district.

Police spokesman Sayyed Sarwar Hussaini confirmed the arrest of the men.
