GARDEZ (Pajhwok): A number of businessmen and residents on Monday announced donating one million afghanis in total to the university in southeastern Paktia province to help resolve some problems on the campus.
The announcement was made at a gathering held in connection with the university’s fundraising week in Gardez, the provincial capital. Local traders and residents attended the gathering.
Local officials say a commission has been formed to resolve problems at the university with financial support from common people and traders.
