NILI (Pajhwok): A police ranger in central Daikundi province plunged into a ravine killing three policemen and wounding two others, an official said Sunday.
Brig. Gen. Juma Guldi Yardam, Daikundi police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident occurred in the afternoon. The injured, he said were in stable condition.
Daikundi, with a mountainous terrain, has mainly bumpy roads which caused harrowing accidents.
In a similar road crash, last month, eight civilians were killed and four others wounded.
