KABUL (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has asked police chiefs he would be satisfied only if people are pleased with their performance, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
Addressing new police chiefs of some provinces, he said: “If you have the support of people you’ll have our support as well,” the president said this in his meeting with police officials. The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Noor-ul-Haq Uloomi.
The president said efforts were on to stop political interference in their duties . . .
