JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least 56 Taliban and Islamic State (IS) fighters have been killed in a barrage of drone strikes in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.
Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the unmanned aircraft fired a volley of missiles on hideouts in the Gogori area of Haska Mina district late on Tuesday.
At least 40 Taliban and 16 IS fighters were killed and four cars belonging to them damaged in the attacks, he said, adding civilians had suffered . . .
