Pilgrims be provided with all facilities: President

KABUL flights and ordered authorities concerned to make sure Afghan pilgrims were provided with all needed facilities.

The first Hajj flight took-off early morning from the Hamid Karzai International Airport in capital Kabul. A total of 24,250 pilgrims would depart for Hajj from Kabul, Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif and Kandahar airports to the holy place.

 A statement from the Presidential Palace said that Ghani ordered Hajj and Religious Affairs Ministry to utilize all available resources to facilitate Afghan pilgrims.

The president hoped that Hajj process would be completed peacefully and all the pilgrims would come back without facing problems.

The statement said the pilgrims had been provided more facilities this year as the prices of airfare had reduced and more comfortable living place had been selected for them in Makkah and Madina.
