Ministry asks Afghans to refuse illegal migration

KABUL of Afghan nationals by human traffickers to European countries.

In a statement, the ministry said human traffickers did not have any commitment to the safety of human beings and called upon those who wanted to migrate to refuse illegal migration and do not put themselves and their family’s lives at risk.

The MoRR said it deeply thanked those European countries who expressed their dissatisfaction over the negative treatment of some countries to migration phenomenon and asked for extraordinary session of 28 European countries on 14th of this month to discuss migrant issues and search for solutions.

The MoRR requested all European countries to consider and assess all migrants from all origin countries equally as humanitarian issues and focus once again on their commitments to common human society’s values.

“Migration is a phenomenon that affects all aspects of human societies’ lives; although it is full of serious challenges, presents unique opportunities for human society and there is no doubt that migration is the main cause of development of the largest industrial countries.”

In addition to positive impacts of migration on economic development of human society, the statement said “today migration as a human phenomenon is supported by those countries who demonstrate their highest abidance to the human rights.”

In 2015, the ministry said, a huge number of Afghan refugees returned to their homeland, but on the other hand increasing migration from origin countries witnessed an unprecedented level toward European countries.
