GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least 20 militants and three Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel have been killed during a clash in the Deh Yak district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Tuesday.
Deh Yak district’s administrative chief Karimullah Amiri told Pajhwok Afghan News the insurgents stormed a number of police posts in Rubat area late on Monday.
At least 20 militants and three ALP members were killed and 18 rebels and three policemen injured during the firefight that lasted three hours, the official said.
