MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A 19-year-old girl was found dead on Monday under mysterious circumstances in Pashtunkot district of northwestern Faryab province, an official said.
Abdul Qader Qadari, the town’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News an investigation into the incident had been opened. He said some people believed the girl had committed suicide but others saw her forced marriage the main reason behind her death.
