SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): A woman, accused of adultery and sentenced to death by Taliban by stoning, has survived the punishment in northern Sar-i-Pul province, a public representative said on Monday.
The woman was accused of adultery a week ago and was stoned on Monday in a Taliban-controlled village Laghman, about 20 kilometres from Sar-i-Pul City, the provincial capital.
