KABUL (Pajhwok): Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Abdul Razaq Wahidi on Saturday said the government earned more than 83 million afghanis in new taxes on cell phone subscribers since levied 10 days back.
Wahidi told journalists in Kabul a new system had been created to ensure transparency in collecting the new taxes.
“We assure our citizens that every penny they pay for using these services will be transferred to government coffers,” he said.
