TALUQAN (Pajhwok): A charity organisation in northeastern Takhar province has fled after fraudulently collecting 4.5 million afghanis from local residents, affected residents and an official said on Sunday.
Mulavi Mohammad Naim, a resident of Baghak area, who heads a council created by “Khwakhogi Charity Foundation,” said the foundation members had fled stealing 4.5 million afghanis of local people.
“The foundation collected 300 afghanis each from 15,000 people as coupon fees to distribute among them special cards for receiving food and other items worth $300 from specific shops in the market,” he said . . .
