KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) executed more than 72,000 projects through community development councils across the country during the past 10 years, the minister said on Sunday.
Speaking at the 5th national two-day conference of development councils on village level, the MRRD, public works, public health, counter-narcotics, agriculture, women’s affairs and water and energy ministers highlighted the importance of activities of the development councils.
Over the past 10 years, up to 72,000 projects, including clean drinking water, roads, electricity, buildings for schools, clinics and others . . .
