KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Afghan special security forces have killed two civilians and arrested as many others in southeastern Khost province, an official said on Saturday.
Governor Hukam Khan Habibi confirmed the shooting of two civilians in security forces raid which took place overnight.
While condemning the incident, Habibi pledged to question the related security officials and the media would be updated soon about the incident.
A 15-year-old school student and his 45-year-old uncle were among the dead, Haji Saifullah, a resident of locality, said.
He said security forces made announcements in laud speakers and demanded the people to vacate their houses, leaving the gates and doors of their homes and vehicles open so that they could carry out the search easily.
During the search, he said they heard explosion and the sounds of gun fire.
