SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): On the completion of a carpet-weaving training, a disabled woman with a blind husband on Monday hoped the skills they had learnt would help resolve their economic problems.
Up to 270 women were trained on carpet weaving for six months by the Department of Works, Social Affairs, Martyrs and the Disabled.
Anis Gul, 50, a poor woman from Shiberghan, the provincial capital, said that they could fulfill their daily needs from baking breads and tailoring job.
