PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Protestors kept blocked the Baghlan-Kunduz highway for a fifth consecutive day on Monday, when a delegation from Presidential Palace arrived in the area to address the issue.
More than 200 people have blocked the busy highway in Parchawah area of Baghlan-i-Markazi district, demanding the shifting of Baghlan’s capital. The road was reopened for traffic only at night.
Hafizullah Suleman Khel,an organisor of the protest, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The road would be kept blocked until the government resolves our problem . . .
