PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Some people have begun digging historical monuments in the Kharwar district of central Logar province, local official said on Sunday.
Nasir Ahmadzai, social affairs official, told Pajhwok Afghan News historical items had been excavated unlawfully in Jozi, Bahadar and Zyar Gul localities over the past four years.
He said the excavation was being carried out in an unprofessional way, posing a serious danger to vital monuments that reflected the rich history of Afghanistan.
