ZARANJ (Pajhwok): The governor on Wednesday said a 500-member strong Afghan local police (ALP) force would be deployed at the borders with Pakistan and Iran and border police would be equipped in near future to prevent militants from moving between the countries.
Recently returned from Kabul in Nimroz and got their assurances.
“There is no Afghan Local Police (ALP) in the province and we need the force for maintaining security,” the governor told Pajhwok Afghan News.
