KABUL (Pajhwok): Gunbattles around the Spanish embassy in a heavily fortified neighbourhood of Kabul ended with the killing of at least 11 people on Saturday morning, officials said.
The clashes began on Saturday evening when the Taliban stormed a foreign guesthouse after a suicide car bombing in the diplomatic area, killing a Spanish police officer and wounding seven civilians.
